I have been part of this community my whole life and have worked tirelessly to make it a better place for many years.
I currently serve as a Town Meeting Representative, Chair of BSAP, the Vice Chair of the Rules Committee and appointed leadership to the General By-Laws Review Committee, where I rewrote sections of the town's General By-Laws in 2020.
Over the last five years, I have authored and passed multiple warrants with some passing unanimously. Most recent was in 2023 Spring Town Meeting, I amended the proposed Recording By-Law, to show transparency in our local government. In the 2023 Fall Town Meeting the Opioid Abatement Settlement fund passed unanimously.
In 2009, my family was personally impacted by the opioid crisis. During this time, I focused my attention and skills to bring change and improvement to our laws and community. This led me to launch a national non-profit in 2014 while continuing to serve on multiple boards and committees across the Commonwealth, Billerica Substance Awareness and Prevention, and across the country to bring change.
In 2016, I was recognized for my work in my non-profit and invited to the White House as a Champion of Change for Advancing Recovery, Treatment, Education and Intervention. Ironically, later that same year, I lost 3 members of my family. I was devastated.
After taking time to grieve, I rejoined BSAP (Chair) and became a Town Meeting Representative while continuing my advocacy work through my non-profit. This later led to organizing over 70 grassroot nonprofit organizations from across the state, to launch the Massachusetts State of Awareness campaign on August 31, 2018. Thousands of people who are affected by substance use disorder gathered at the Boston Common.
I know the value of being connected. That's why I'm running for this position. When we are focused on common goals and the good of our community, we can lead together and effect positive change.

I know the value of being connected. That's why I'm running for this position. When we are focused on common goals and the good of our community, we can lead together and effect positive change.
I fundamentally believe that every person has inherent worth and we need people in leadership who are willing to build longer tables, not higher fences. I am that person!
Over the last 25 years, I have worked on many challenging issues and advocated for reform, increased funding and resources at all levels of government. My work has taught me to work across the aisle and brought about effective change in policies, amended healthcare laws, increased funding and resources for treatment, education and intervention.
In 2018, I was invited by the Attorney General to join her team’s Opioid Advisory Council for the Purdue Pharma lawsuit litigation. After 4 years of litigation, in April 2022, we announced one of the state largest settlements in history, with Billerica receiving over $800k in opioid abatement settlement funds to address the opioid crisis. This settlement will help families in town who are or were affected by this. These resources will also address prevention and education.
In my career as a Paralegal, I specialized in commercial property, contract law, settlement negotiation, ADR and more.
Since 2018, I have served as the President of my HOA. In this role, I have direct experience in managing a $30M complex comprised of 132 households. My responsibilities include capital needs assessments, capital assets management, auditing, planning, budgeting, maintenance and more for the entire community. Under my leadership we have made it a priority to support the home owners, uphold our governing documents and hire Billerica based companies and contractors as our vendors.
I can't win this race without your help. Volunteering, word-of-mouth, and donating are all ways of helping us achieve our goals together.
